Sat. Feb 7 2009 - Molly's Stage is here!

It's been a long, impatient couple of weeks here at Christi's, but last Wednesday Christi finally received the item that has long been gossip of Elizabeth, Ruthie and Samantha - Molly's stage!!!

"Me, Ruthie and Sam all knew it would come! We have our ways, you know.  We're absolutely NEVER wrong.  Molly didn't believe us, but gossip has once again proved true!" Elizabeth Cole confides in me the afternoon the stage arrived.

This reporter decided to talk to Molly and Emily about the arrival of this exciting new item while Christi was busy putting it together.

Q: Molly, are you excited about the stage's arrival?

A - Molly: Well, yes, I guess so.  I mean, I can't really imagine getting up there and performing on it...Suppose my glasses fell off, or Julie tripped me or laughed at me?

A - Emily: What Molly means is, it's been a long time since she was Miss Victory! But I'm sure she's quite excited to get back up in the spotlight!

Q: So, Emily, do you enjoy the stage, too?

A - E: Well, I've had the opposite effect to Molly.  Back in Jefferson, I was too shy to perform with Molly, Linda and Susan, but I feel more comfortable here, and can't wait to perform for all of you!

Q: And I can't wait to watch the two of you! So, what exactly do you guys enjoy doing? Acting, singing, dancing...?

A - M: Watching movies.

A - E: Molly! She meant ourselves! Molly can do all three! She's a triple threat! I enjoy tap dancing, but I can't really sing, since my voice hasn't really matured yet.  I would love to try acting, though I don't know how good I will be.

Q: Will there be any sort of kick-off show?

A - M: Heavens, no!

A - E: Perhaps.  We'd have to practice a lot first.

Suddenly, Annabelle, the older sister of Elizabeth interrupts this interview with some breaking news.

"Well, I think a little kick-off contest is in order! I, myself, am quite the triple threat, and would just love to get up on that stage! Of course, I will give you plenty of time to practice.  How about having the contest on Christi's birthday? It will be a wonderful gift.  What do you say?"

Emily catches Molly before she can faint, and announces, "We'll do it, Annabelle Bananabelle! And we'll beat you and Julie for sure!"

Well, I see this stage will only be bringing more and more excitement as time goes on! Farewell, my friends! I have to go see if Felicity would like to do an act together for the contest.

Sat., Jan. 24th, 2009 - Française Au Coeur is born!

Hello, to old friends and new! Today this reporter explores the new blog of Caitlin and Christi's and discovers new dolls and their stories.

To all the dolls who are too in-their own world to remember (Felicity) or are just too dumb (Christi's Ivy and Caitlin's Mia) as a good reporter, I will remind you of how Christi and Caitlin met.  It was on an AG collectors board called AGFMB, and by chance, the two doll-lovers, found out that they coincidentally both loved French and had French dolls named Christelle.  They started exchanging E-mails and later, texting.  Finally, they've decided to create a blog for their dolls.  I, for one, cannot wait to meet all these new friends!

I've picked a few of Caitlin's most interesting dolls to report on, after researching each one of them carefully.  I've also drawn together a few of my friends to have their say on what they think of Caitlin's dolls.

First up is Anna (for more on Anna, see her bio under 'Nos Poupées').
JULIE: "Alright, this girl is definitely a freak if she thinks she lives in Hogwarts! We're talking mentally unstable...
RUTHIE: A girl can dream, can't she?
MOLLY: Yes, but that doesn't necessarily mean the dreams will come true.  If she really believed she lived in Hogwarts then she is rather strange...
JULIE: Nicely said, four eyes.

Second is Jess McConnell.  (For more info on Jees, see her bio under 'Nos Poupées')
ADDY: I'm sure Jess would be a good student...*shoots evil glare at the others* unlike the rest of you!
KIT: I don't think I'm too bad!
JULIE: I'm smarter than Kit!
KIT: ARE NOT!
JULIE: AM TOO!

Next is Marisol (For more info on Marisol, see her bio under 'Nos Poupées).
ELIZABETH: oooh! The two of us will definitely have to design some fashions together! I hope she likes ballet!
JULIE: Fat chance.  I don't think anybody is quite stupid enough to want to dance something so boring and girly.
ELIZABETH: Well, I guess I'm just that stupid...
SAMANTHA: Don't worry about Julie, Lizzie! I love ballet and you me and Marisol can just ignore stupid Julie!
MOLLY: I wish it were that easy...

Now, Ava Seffner.  (For more info on Ava, see her bio under 'Nos Poupées')
ME: I really like Ava - I think she's cool!
SAMANTHA: BUT SHE HATES THE FRENCH!
ELIZABETH: WE SHALL SHUN HER!!!
JULIE: *Sarcastically* Oh, what a tragedy...

Fourth, Mia St. Clair.  (For more info on Mia, see her bio under 'Nos Poupées')
JULIE: HA! And I didn't think they made 'em any stupider than Ivy!
RUTHIE: Julie, why do you have to be so mean all the time?
ME: Please, guys, we're supposed to be focusing on Caitlin's dolls!
IVY: Hey, Julie, were you calling me dumb?
JULIE: No.
IVY: Oh.  okay!

Fifth, Caitlin's Nellie (Not to be confused with Christi's Nellie.  See the bio for more info!)
NELLIE: Oh, she sounds just delightful.  The world needs more practical dolls.
ME: I agree!
JENNY: I don't! Nellie, dolls are supposed to have FUN! So can you please stop trying to teach me algebra?
BRIDGET: Yes, PLEASE!
ME: ON TOPIC GUYS!
JULIE: Oh, right.  I think she sounds boring and needs to loosen up.
ME: *Sigh* Sorry, my readers.

Now, Nicki and Vicki Fleming.  (See their bio under 'Nos Poupées')
JULIE: Annabelle, we could USE them!
ANNABELLE: Are they dumb like Ivy?
JULIE: No, they sound like evil geniuses!
ANNABELLE: Then they shall help us take over the doll world!
JULIE & ANNABELLE: MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
ME: Uh, heh heh...um...onto the next doll...

Christelle Lacaux (See her bio for more under 'Nos Poupées')
SAMANTHA: SHE'S FRENCH!!!!!
ELIZABETH: I LOVE HER!!!!
ME: Guys, there's more to her than just her French-ness!
RUTHIE: I'm sorry but the three of us are obsessive! We simply cannot see past that!

Sabine Bouchard (See her bio under 'Nos Poupées' for more.)
ME: Guys, please don't freak out just because she's French.
ELIZABETH: We can't promise you that, Kit!
RUTHIE, ELIZABETH & SAMANTHA: WE WILL BE YOUR FRIENDS SABINE!!!
ME: Fine, I will do this myself! I think she sounds really nice.  I'm surprised no one wants to be her friend, and think we should all be friendly to her.  I also can't wait to visit her blog.  SEE? WAS THAT SO HARD?
R, E & S: *Giggles*
RUTHIE: Oh, I'm sorry, Kit! Did you say something?

And that's a wrap! I'm afraid my friends' personalities may have gotten in the way, but that's not my fault is it? In my opinion, all of Caitlin's dolls sound very interesting, and I can't wait to get to know them better.  Well, that's it for this exciting week! And what does next week have in store?
